How much should you be paid to post on social?

Don't be told otherwise, there's no standard rate card - prices vary greatly. However, unless you’re a Kardashian or The Rock don't be expecting millions! 💰

But there are accepted guidelines out there...

Generally, to post ready made content once you can expect £100 per 10k followers. 📲

Based on number of posts, follower count, engagement rate, niche audience or UGC creativity you could command much more. ⬆️

This will also be reflected in the sponsors business objectives - brand awareness, conversions or content for example.

It's suggested, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 + 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 (𝘅 #𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀) + 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 = 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲.

A brand takeover usually involves you hosting the brand’s feed for an agreed upon length of time, or maybe they takeover your channel with an exclusivity ask - make sure you reflect this in your price! 💵

If you think that you & the brand could make sweet commercial music together, consider the 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 model where you directly drive sales traffic to an e-comm platform and earn 8-12% back of all attributable sales...it could pay a lot more than a one off fee! 🤑
